When you are trying to import the data in Tally using XML file, make sure that option “Ignore errors during data import” is set to Yes.  This setting will allow Tally to import the matching data and generate the log/imp file with the summery of Imported data and not imported data with complete error description.

On gateway of Tally, Press F12 > General
